Beberapa virus lokal Indonesia sering kali men-disable task manager pada windows,
hal ini menyebabkan kita sulit untuk melakukan pengecekan akan proses yang mencurigakan yang berjalan di komputer kita.

berikut adalah entry registry yang dapat men-enable task manager:

REG add HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System /v DisableTaskMgr /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f

Jalankan dari start - run di windows, ada baiknya langsung copy paste saja biar tidak terjadi kesalahan :).

Website Pajak Saat ini menggunakan joomla :p, jadi ingat dua tahun lalu ikutan lomba design website pajak, dan ternyata pengumuman pemenang lomba website tidak ada sampai saat ini.

Sekedar kilas balik, dulu saya mengikut lomba dengan menggunakan konsep website cms dengan engine joomla, dan siap dijalanan dalam cd (jadi tanpa perlu install ke windows).

Kembali ke topik, Website Pajak saat ini cukup informatif untuk membantu saya mulai memahami pajak dan mulai untuk menjalankan perusahaan sebagai PKP.

Sayang sekali program yang disediakan masih menggunakan database ms access, mungkin jika sempat saya akan coba bikin versi dengan menggunakan mysql :).

Sebelumnya saya menggunakan wordpress 2.31, dan enggan untuk update ke wordpress 2.5, tapi karena kemaren sedang dirumah teman yang memiliki koneksi internet tokcer, saya jadi iseng-iseng download wordpress 2.51 dan kemudian mengupload untuk blog pribadi ini.

Berikut adalah langkah-langkah yang saya lakukan untuk upgrade wordpress dari versi 2.31 ke 2.51
1. backup database dan file wordpress 3.51 yang lama
2. delete file wordpress 2.31
3. upload file wordpress 2.51
4. restore file wp-content bagian theme untuk theme yang anda gunakan saat ini ke folder wp-content wordpress 2.51 yang sudah anda upload
5. restore file wp-config.php dari backup
6. update / upgrade database wordpress dengan cara melakukan akses ke namasite/wp-admin, selanjutnya ada pilihan untuk upgrade database, klik next dan selesailah proses upgrade wordpress ke versi 2.51 :).

Mungkin ada baiknya dicoba untuk menggunakan plugins untuk update automatis, tapi saya pribadi lebih suka update manual, karena siapa tahu yang automatis gagal dan malah saya kehilangan data :p

Pagi ini nonton acara good morning di transtv, karena tamu nya hari ini adalah mentri dari depkominfo dan topik seputar UU ITE terkait dengan pemblokiran situs porno.

Pak mentri bilang, pemerintah akan menyediakan program untuk diinstall di komputer warnet yang akan membantu untuk blokir situs porno yang dapat diakses dari komputer. Program dapat didownload pada situs Depkominfo, tapi sayang sekali pak mentri ternyata belum cek dulu sebelum bicara di acara good morning, situs departemen nya ternyata tidak bisa diakses.

Setelah mendengarkan penjelasan dari bapak mentri mengenai rencana pemblokiran, saya menangkap metode yang akan digunakan dalam waktu dekat adalah pemerintah akan menyediakan program pemblokir yang dapat didownload untuk sistem operasi windows, dimana program blokir ini berdasarkan alamat website.

Sekilar mendengarkan, saya menganggap cara-cara yang dipergunakan pemerintah sepertinya hanya akan menghabiskan banyak biaya saja, dan tidak menyentuh pokok permasalahan, beberapa pro kontra sebagai berikut:

• Apakah pemerintah berhak menyatakan suatu alamat web adalah web mengandung pornografi?, sedang untuk banyak hal yang diatur oleh pemerintah saja masih banyak yang bermasalah dan tidak beres dalam pelaksanaannya. Apakah nanti search engine seperti google, yahoo akan diblok juga? atau situs penyedia konten porno secara tidak langsung seperti youtube juga akan diblok?
• Pemerintah perlu selalu melakukan update terhadap program / sistem pencegah konten pornografi yang dibuat, karena akan selalu ada pihak yang menyediakan cara-cara baru yang dapat meng-counter program milik pemerintah. Hal ini menurut saya hanya akan membuang sumber daya negara - uang rakyat, dan membuang waktu saja, masih banyak hal yang lebih penting dan krusial untuk diurus oleh negara ini.

Semoga UU ITE dan bentuk implementasinya oleh depkominfo tidak hanya menjadi trend sesaat, dan ajang proyek untuk menghisap dana pemerintah.

Mendapat berita dari Telkom Speedy,
ternyata sampai dengan saat ini (2 Maret 2003), jaringan telkom speedy masih bermasalah untuk link international :(.

Terhitung mulai tanggal 1 Maret 2008 sejak pukul 00.00 WIB gangguan kabel optik di Palembang telah dapat diperbaiki. Anda kembali bisa menggunakan koneksi internet ke link global.

Sebagai penghobi koran kompas 1000-an, siang ini saya membeli koran tersebut di lampu merah :p,
tapi untuk hari ini saya mendapatkan koran kompas 1000-an yang lebih tipis / ringkas, ternyata koran kompas tersebut adalah
koran Kompas Update, yang baru terbit hari ini, Jumat 4 Januari 2008.

Biasanya pada pada hari pertama tahun baru yang dilakukan adalah tidur :D,
tapi tahun ini ada perubahaan, kumpul2x bareng anak2x sma buat bbq-an, sayang personil yang dateng kurang lengkap,
karena ada yang kerja, ada yang ada urusan keluarga :p.
